Director of Government Affairs
Michael holds a B.S. in Education from the University of Nebraska. Prior to joining NYSAR’s Government Affairs Department in 2001, he worked for eight years in the NYS Assembly directing communication efforts for several Assembly members and served as staff for the Ways and Means committee. Michael became the Director of Government Affairs in 2008. The Government Affairs Department helps to formulate and implement NYSAR’s annual legislative and political agenda and to manage the REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC), Issues Mobilization funds and REALTORS Advocacy Committee. His department is also responsible for assisting local boards in achieving their political and legislative goals.
