Professional Standards Training

Every year NYSAR offers a series of Code of Ethics and Professional Standards Procedures Training Programs designed to provide attendees with an update on professional standards, Code of Ethics and enforcement procedures, plus other changes adopted by NAR's Board of Directors or Delegate Body.

In 2013, the NYSAR Professional Standards Committee is sponsoring five training sessions throughout the state to educate members on these important issues.

Recent changes in the Standards of Practice reflect REALTORS’ increasing reliance on the Internet as a transactional and marketing tool. The use of the Internet has led to an increasing number of concerns, questions and suggestions regarding the REALTOR Code of Ethics.

This is a prime opportunity for you to get your questions answered and to learn about ethics and arbitration hearing procedures, conducting a hearing and disciplinary guidelines.

While anyone is welcome to attend, the seminar is intended for board/association grievance and professional standards committee members, directors, officers, executive officers/professional standards administrators, board legal counsels and members interested in the professional standards process.

6 Hours of CE credit is included.

Cost: $125 (includes meals and manual)
