Freddie Mac: Fixed mortgage rates increase slightly

In its Primary Mortgage Market Survey for the week ending November 27, 2013, Freddie Mac reported that the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) for the Northeast averaged 4.29 percent with an average 0.8 point, up from 4.24 percent the previous week. 

The 15-year FRM also rose, averaging 3.32 percent with an average 0.8 point, up from 3.29 percent the week prior. 

Nationally, the 30-year FRM averaged 4.29 percent, up from 4.22 percent the previous week, while the 15-year FRM rose from 3.27 percent to 3.3 percent.
