RealtyTrac: New York State median sales price rises in November

In its November 2014 U.S. Residential & Foreclosure Sales Report, RealtyTrac Inc. reported that median sales price for New York State was $340,000, 5 percent above the previous month and up 10 percent annually. The median price of a distressed sale – in foreclosure or bank-owned property – was $233,110. This is down 1 percent from October but up 9 percent since November 2013.

Nationally, the median sales price was $199,000, remaining level with the previous month but up 14 percent from the same time last year.
