Mortgage applications rise slightly in weekly survey

In its Weekly Mortgage Applications Survey for the week ending June 19, 2015, the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) reported that the volume of mortgage loan applications rose 1.6 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis. On an unadjusted basis, the index rose 1 percent compared to the previous week.
Both the Refinance Index and Purchase Index increased as well, rising 2 percent and 1 percent respectively.
