NAR signs tech agreement with Upstream

Nov 05, 2015
The National Association of REALTORS (NAR) and REALTORS Property Resource (RPR) signed a technology agreement with Upstream to develop a cross-industry platform for real estate data entry, collection and distribution for real estate brokers. Upstream will create a single entry point for brokers to manage property data, and offer distribution to MLSs, publishers and vendors. The aim is to save brokers time, effort and expense, while at the same time empowering them to maintain more accurate, consistent data.

Another goal of Upstream is to give brokerages of all sizes more control over the security, licensing terms, and distribution of their listing data. The hope is that a streamlined system will also offer a better consumer experience for home buyers and sellers.
