Giving Creates Results

Each year, the foundation solicits contributions from corporations, organizations, associations, and individuals to support its scholarship fund.

Because of many generous donations, NYSSREF has been awarding scholarships to deserving individuals since 2004. In 2008 alone, a record $22,000 in scholarships was awarded to 82 eligible applicants.

Scholarship recipients are chosen from all parts of the state and are grateful for the generosity of others in helping them achieve their educational goals.

Your support can make a difference to:

REALTORS licensed and practicing in New York State who wish to further their education and enhance their level of client service through the pursuit of a national designation.
REALTOR practitioners who wish to develop or enhance their instructional skills for the delivery of real estate education programs.
REALTOR members and REALTOR association staff members who want to acquire or strengthen their leadership skills.

Planned Giving

Contributions may be in the form of cash, stock or other asset, or through a will or long-term giving method such as life insurance, charitable remainder trust or charitable gift annuity. Gifts qualify as charitable contributions, which entitle you to federal income, estate or gift tax deductions. Contributors are advised to consult with legal and/or tax counsel.

You are encouraged to contribute as an individual, or as a representative of a corporation, organization or institution.

You may make a donation to honor an individual, or commemorate an event or accomplishment. You may also make a donation in memory of an individual important to you or to the real estate industry.
