The New York State Association of REALTORS’ 2018 Mid-Winter Business Meetings will be held Sunday, February 4 through Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Desmond Hotel & Conference Center, Albany, NY.

There are two ways to register:

1. Login to Your username is your 9-digit NRDS number and your password is your your last name. (It is case sensitive) From the "Events" dropdown menu, select "Upcoming Meetings" and then follow the instructions on the page to continue.

2. Mail or fax the registration form as per the provided instructions.

Please note: You must make any required payments at the time of registration for your registration to be processed.

Please visit NYSAR's on-site registration desk located in the King Street Courtyard to check in and receive your name badge and final agenda. Attendees who purchased tickets to the Inaugural Dinner will receive them upon check-in.

Inaugural Dinner: Tickets will cost $75 until January 26. After 1/26, tickets will be sold for $85.

Local Board/Association Leadership Conference: Free! Pre-registration is required. 

Instructor Development Program: This session is designed for NYSAR and local board/association instructors. Pre-registration by January 26 is required to ensure the availability of materials. A fee of $25 applies.

RPAC VIP Lounge: Cost: $250 investment or pledge. 

Market Going Up or Down? appraisal CE session: 3 hours real estate and appraiser CE pending. Cost: $50. 

Legal Update: Free! 1.5 hours CE credit. Pre-register by January 26 to ensure seating.

Sunday, 11:30-1 p.m.
Local board/association presidents are invited to join host CJ DelVecchio, NYSAR's 2018 president, for an extra networking opportunity during the Leadership Conference.

Local Board/Association Leadership Conference
Sunday, 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
Designed for local board/association leadership teams and directors, this conference provides direction for forging strong partnerships in order to achieve goals, tackle issues and address challenges that are regularly faced by board/association leadership. The Conference continues Monday from 8 a.m.- Noon.

Leadership Reception
Sunday, 5-6 p.m.

Members attending the Local Board/Association Leadership Conference are invited to enjoy a complimentary cocktail and hors d’oeuvres while networking.

Superbowl Gathering
Sunday, 6 p.m.
Members are invited to root for their favorite team while enjoying light appetizers and a complimentary drink with colleagues at the Desmond Tavern.

During the session, NYSAR Legal Counsel Anthony Gatto, Esq. will provide an informative update on current legal issues. Pre-register by January 26 to ensure seating and earn your free CE credit. First-come, first-served.

President's Reception
Monday, 6-7 p.m.
All attendees are welcome to attend the President's Reception for networking, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

Inaugural Dinner

Is your market changing for the better or for the worse? Are REOs becoming your market? This class will give you the skills to read the market and put it all into practice. Learn how appraisers are trained to forecast and about absorption rates. Pre-registration and $50 fee applies.

RPR Roundtable

General Session
Tuesday, 2-3:30 p.m.
This must-attend session will include President CJ DelVecchio's State of the Association address, the presentation of the Lawrence B. Caldwell RPAC Award and the 2017 Community Service Award. The session will also feature a keynote presentation from Mike Weber. For the past 20 years, Weber has been inspiring people from Main to California to explore leadership, teamwork, and organizational structure by reorganizing the patterns and assumptions that define how they do business and work together. His energetic, engaging presentation will challenge you to improve your life by first changing how you think.

In addition to an opportunity to get your questions answered and have a discussion with Department of State staff members, national speaker and CEO of the Real Estate Technology Institute Craig Grant will present "Too Much Inbox." Today's real estate professionals are inundated with marketing messages, especially when it comes to educational opportunities. Learn how to stand out from the crowd and maximize enrollment among different generations with different communication styles.

Instructor Development Program: Enhance Course Attendance and Engagement
Wednesday, 10:30-Noon
In this interactive session presented by Craig Grant, instructors and managers will learn how to improve participation and engagement by: implementing social media, video and visual aids to help market your programs to maximize attendance; using tech tools such as live polling and using video to present scenarios for case study discussions; and facilitating activities such as role playing and group problem-solving to reinforce learning. Tax & Retirement Planning Seminar

Young Professionals Network (YPN)

Regional Caucuses

All attendees are encouraged to participate in their regional caucus to share details about the committee meetings attended that week in preparation for Thursday's Board of Directors meeting.
