Goshen REALTOR Katheryn DeClerck appointed NYSAR Lower Hudson Region vice president

Albany, NY – Feb. 10, 2016 – Katheryn DeClerck, ABR, AHWD, e-Pro, Green, GRI, SFR, SRES, of Goshen took the oath of office Monday, Feb. 8, as the 2016 Lower Hudson Region vice president of the New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR) during the association’s inauguration ceremony held in conjunction with its business meetings at The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany, NY.
DeClerck, a REALTOR® for 15 years, is an associate broker with Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty in Warwick, NY. 
She is a past president of the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS® and has chaired the leadership, finance and strategic planning committees. She has also served on numerous other committees including legislative steering. 
On the state level, DeClerck has served on the NYSAR Board of Directors since 2008. She has served on or chaired numerous committees including: communications and public relations; professional standards; grievance; fair housing and cultural diversity; legislative policy; and REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Trustees. 
On the national level, DeClerck served as a director for the National Association of REALTORS® in 2013 and 2014. She is currently serving as the Federal Political Coordinator for Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney of the 18th Congressional District.
Active in her community, DeClerck is a graduate of Leadership Orange and has served on the Community Impact Council for the United Way.

Empire State housing market stays hot in January

New York State home sales remained strong to start the new year with 8,698 closed sales, falling just shy of the 2017 record for January, according to the annual housing market report released by the New York State Association of REALTORS.
