Submitted for 7 hours of appraiser and 6.5 hours of real estate continuing education credit

This is the 7-Hour National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) Update Course, as developed by The Appraisal Foundation. It is unique in that the Course is developed by The Appraisal Foundation and is revised on a periodic basis to stay current with the latest edition of USPAP. On August 11, 2022, The Appraisal Foundation’s Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) announced that the current edition of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) would be extended by one year. The 2020-2021 USPAP will now be effective until December 31, 2023. While this course is titled 2022-2023 USPAP Update, it will be the same content as the 2020-2021 version. You will be provided with a copy of the 2020-2021 USPAP (now effective through December 31, 2023). More information can be found here.

All appraisers are required to complete a 7-hour National USPAP Update Course in order to renew their license/certification.

Instructor: Maureen Sweeney, SRA, AI-RRS has been a residential real estate appraiser since 1989. From 2005 through 2017, she served as a member of the Illinois Real Estate Appraisal Administration and Disciplinary Board. She is a national instructor with the Appraisal Institute.

Appraisers are problem solving for every appraisal assignment. Let’s look at current demands on Appraisers. Exploring the current market requirement of measuring and analyzing green/energy efficient or self-sustaining properties (off grid). Shine a light on the Fannie Mae requirements of ANSI-Z765 measuring standards what is the market really speaking! Don’t forget the FHFA moderation project! When are the “new” forms coming! Property Appraisal and Valuation Equity (PAVE) are appraisers ending up in “fair housing jail?” Wrap it all with USPAP standards and how to stay compliant. Appraisers and agents join us for a day filled with round table discussions and interaction. Confirm what your peers are doing, as that is the benchmark for the valuation profession! Instructor: Rebecca (Becky) Jones, GSI MNNA, AHED, e-Pro, Green, PSA, RAA, C2Ex is a NYS Cert. Res. Appraiser and AQB Certified USPAP instructor. Jones is actively involved in the real estate profession from local to national level since the mid-1980s. Educating with a Socratic Style.
