Partnering with NYSAR

NYSAR offers many local board/association partnership opportunities, which benefit the local board/association, the state association and members.

NYSAR provides free, customized prospecting brochure to local board/associations

In an effort to grow REALTOR membership in New York State, NYSAR has developed “Join the REALTOR family” promotional materials for local board/associations to use to educate non-members about the benefits of REALTOR membership. The tri-fold brochure includes panels dedicated to each of the three tiers in the REALTOR family – local, state and national – and highlights the benefits at each level.

NYSAR will customize the local panel to include a 50-word overview of your board/association, 5-7 bullet points highlighting your premier benefits, and the board’s contact information. Click here to view a sample brochure customized for the New York State Commercial Association of REALTORS. Banner ads are also available in three standard sizes for your use. The banner ads and customized brochure PDF will be provided to your board electronically free of charge.

To receive your customized brochure, please complete and return the customization request form to Kristen Pooler, Director of Marketing, via e-mail at Customizations will be completed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your board’s customized brochure.

Revenue sharing program

Co-sponsor NAR designation courses with NYSAR

Nearly $18,000 in revenue was given to local boards across the state that participated in the NAR designation co-sponsorship program with NYSAR in 2008. Interest continues to be high in NAR designation courses and with new programs available, participation is up.

Local boards/associations need only to sign and return the co-sponsorship agreement. This agreement applies to all courses – even online courses – that NYSAR sponsors and that you help promote. Your revenue is based on the participation by primary members of your board. You are also eligible to revenue share on challenge exams, if you promote and proctor them.
