2023 Virtual Broker Summit

The Summit will run over two mornings (Tuesday, January 10th and Wednesday, January 11th), from 8:30 a.m.to 12 p.m.
The NYSAR annual Broker Summit is an opportunity for the state association to help brokers stay aware of the changes and challenges taking place in the industry that may affect them, their company and their agents.
The Summit will cover:
- The economy and its effects on real estate
- Pending and projected legislation
- New and changing business models and their impact on the industry
- How successful young brokers are building a culture in their firms to attract and retain quality professionals
- The legal challenges in NY brokers should be aware of
- Commercial real estate and its impact on residential sales
- Technology brokers should be employing in their firms
The proposed Agenda is as follows:
1 hour sessions
Day One – Tuesday, January 10:
Program kick-off by John Vernazza, NYSAR President
- Industry Update: Joe Rand, speaker
- Broker Panel: Joe Rand, moderator
- Economic Update: industry economist being sought out
Day Two – Wednesday, January 11:
Welcome to Day 2 – John Vernazza
- Legal Update: Joe Rand, moderator, with local board attorneys and NYSAR counsel
- Commercial/International Real Estate – Its value to residential firms
- Broker Technology: potentially T3 Sixty
- Summit Wrap Up
Short 10-15 minute breaks will be built into the program each day. 2-3 “must be present to win” drawings for cool tech products will take place following the breaks.
