NYS Eviction Moratorium Ends

New York’s eviction moratorium expired on January 15, 2022. The 2020 eviction moratorium, implemented by former NYS Governor Andrew Cuomo, prevented landlords in New York from evicting tenants who couldn’t pay rent during the pandemic  You can read more about the eviction moratorium on the NYS Senate website.
