Mortgage applications decrease slightly in weekly MBA survey

In its Weekly Mortgage Market Survey for the week ending September 26, 2014, the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) reported that the volume of mortgage loan applications fell 0.2 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis. On an unadjusted basis, the index fell 0.4 percent compared with the previous week. 

The Refinance Index also fell 0.3 percent from the previous week. The Purchase Index remained unchanged from one week earlier.
