2016 Fall Business Meetings under way

Sep 27, 2016
The 2016 NYSAR Fall Business Meetings kicked off Sunday at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona. During yesterday’s General Session, NYSAR President Linda Lugo provided a recap of NYSAR's activities on behalf of its members during the year.
Additionally, Mark Sanborn, president of Sanborn & Associates, Inc., taught attendees how to elevate their customer’s experience, add value (without necessarily spending money to do it), and turn interactions into connections. The 2016 GRI graduates were announced and the 2016 REALTOR of the Year award was presented to Walauddin “Buddy” Hoosein of Elmont, NY. He is the 59th recipient of the REALTOR of the Year award, which recognizes outstanding service to the REALTOR organization at the local, state and national levels, a strict adherence to the high principles of the National Association of REALTORS Code of Ethics, a commitment to civic activity and business accomplishments.
The RPAC Trivia Night fundraiser was also held last night, which featured a regional trivia competition hosted by DJ Trivia, and live and silent auctions to raise money for RPAC.
Be sure to follow NYSAR on Twitter throughout the meetings for updates. Also, for those attending the meetings, use #NYSARFBM in your tweets so your fellow members can follow what’s happening.
