Foundations & Divisions

The New York State Real Estate Education Foundation (NYSREEF) provides funds to REALTORS® wishing to advance their real estate careers through education.

The NYSAR Housing Opportunities Foundation was created to assist families and individuals in overcoming the obstacles to homeownership as well as to promote safe, decent, and affordable housing for all in New York State.

The NYSAR Appraisal Committee was newly created in 2013 and is focused on allowing appraisers to take part in education courses including the 7-hour National USPAP Update, review of state laws and regulations, discussion of industry requirements, and networking with appraisers from across the state.

The NYSAR Young Professionals Network (YPN) is a member-driven group that gives a voice to NYSAR’s young REALTORS®. Its mission is to develop young real estate professionals through association involvement; provide members with new tools, education, and training opportunities; offer networking opportunities; foster idea-sharing among REALTORS® of all ages and experience levels, and encourage community volunteerism.

Disaster Relief Fund, Inc.

This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes as defined in Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), including the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under IRC Section 501 (c)(3), and specifically for the purpose of raising or receiving funds to provide charitable support to individuals or entities affected by a personal or natural disaster with a preference to those individuals or entities residing and/or situated in New York State. This fund has made grants available to individuals such as those affected by Super Storm Sandy, Hurricane Irene and Lee, Habitat for Humanity International, and the NAR REALTORS® Relief Foundation. Make a contribution.
